Cathartic Glitch is a digital culture publication and creative project exploring the intersection of art, media, and digital experiences. The site covers films, games, music, animation, exhibitions, internet culture, New Media Art, and other works shaped by screens, sound, software, images, systems, and performance. Its focus is not only on whether something is good, but on how it is built, how it moves, how it thinks, and how it changes the way we experience the world around it. The blog moves between pop culture and contemporary art because those worlds are already connected, giving the same attention to a video game, a music video, a horror film, a digital artwork, a gallery show, or an internet-born project, whether it appears in a museum, on a console, in a cinema, on a phone, or inside a browser window.

It pays attention to color, pacing, sound, mechanics, interface, performance, composition, glitches, repetition, and visual language as part of what a work is trying to express. At The Wrong Biennale, the online exhibition Coded Feelings explores how digital systems shape emotional life from within. Across works about intimacy, consumption, control, and false promise, the exhibition shows that digital tools no longer simply carry emotion. They now influence how emotion is built, directed, and experienced in everyday life.
